Benefit concert: a musical journey around the world at the French Church

Filling the air with magical sounds and our hearts with lasting joy, the three choirs – BOLLITT’o misto, Ai-Chiao and the Dreif-Gospelchor – mesmerised the audience at the benefit concert held in Bern's French Church on 15 June.

The musical odyssey of BOLLITT’o misto, the melodies of the Chinese choir Ai-Chiao and the rhythms of the Dreif-Gospelchor harmonised perfectly with the simplicity of the Gothic church with its historical wall paintings. The church’s marvellous acoustics offered the audience of around 150 people a sensational experience filled with touching and spellbinding moments.

In her closing speech, Isabelle Lamontagne-Müller, Managing Director of SPOG, aptly described the performance as «a display of musical fireworks«. As in previous years, the generous audience, together with the advertisers, made this long-established event a resounding success, raising an impressive total of CHF 6555. Our heartfelt thanks go to everyone who contributed! Every single franc will be invested into the SPOG’s research programme.

We would like to thank the donors, the singers and the advertisers as well as the French church and the media agency «Passive Attack» for contributing to this wonderful evening in support of childhood cancer research.
