The SPOG annual report 2024 offers insights into an intensive year dedicated to clinical research. By the end of 2024, 28 studies – including 15 clinical trials – were open for children and adolescents with cancer. Two new studies were opened: one on acute myeloid leukaemia (SCRIPT-AML) and one on neuroblastoma (SIOPEN BIOPORTAL).
Managing Over 60 Studies
The SPOG Coordinating Center oversaw a total of 64 studies, submitted over 170 reports to the authorities and organised 18 study openings at member hospitals. In addition, 149 scientific publications were published with contributions from researchers across the SPOG network.
