Movement for a Good Cause: With our annual campaign "Jumping for Good," we are playfully raising awareness for childhood cancer research by SPOG. Each jump collected represents hope for a world where all children and adolescents can be cured without long-term effects from their therapy. Join us!
We are launching the campaign on February 15th, International Childhood Cancer Day, to highlight the importance of research for children and adolescents with cancer. The campaign runs until the end of International Childhood Cancer Month in September. This gives us plenty of time to collect many jumps and make a strong statement together.
How does the campaign work?
The idea is simple: grab a jump rope, start jumping, and record your jumps on our website spog.ch/jump. Improve your skills over the course of the campaign and collect more jumps – each new entry adds to your total!
And if you don’t like or can’t jump, you can also support the campaign directly.
Why rope jumping?
Jumping rope is one of the most effective and accessible forms of exercise. It’s fun, promotes fitness, and can be done anywhere – whether alone, with friends, or in a team. The jumping SPOGLI in our logo stands for joy, health, and lightness – our research aims to preserve these values for children and adolescents with cancer through improved therapies.
The goal: Achieve great things together!
The more people participate, the more jumps we can collect. You can follow the total number of jumps live on the website. There is also a leaderboard.
How to participate:
- Jump rope – alone or with others
- Record your jumps on our website
- Donate an amount per jump
- Follow the progress live and motivate others
- Challenge friends and family and let the counter rise together
- Watch our campaign video! It explains why childhood cancer research is so essential and how your involvement helps.
- Share our video on social media or with your acquaintances – this way we can reach even more people!
Every jump counts – join us and support childhood cancer research in a playful way!
