Did you know that children and adolescents can also get cancer? Children are not small adults; they need tailored therapy.
With the Research is worth its weight in gold campaign, we want to highlight the immense importance of childhood cancer research. Progress in recent decades has been enormous: in the 1950s and 60s, only 10-20% of children and adolescents survived cancer; today, it’s almost 90%. What has been achieved is not a reason to rest: we continue to conduct research so that every child and adolescent with cancer has a future. To make this possible, we need the help of individuals and organizations.
