The SPOG Anniversary T-shirt is now available

Children and adolescents from across Switzerland gifted Spogli drawings and wishes for its 50th birthday. A selection of these artworks has been transformed into the SPOG Anniversary T-shirt, which now supports childhood cancer research.

A few months ago, we invited children and adolescents from all over Switzerland to take part in a creative campaign. The response was overwhelming: more than 80 artworks reached us, colourful, creative and full of hopes for the future. A selection of these drawings has been brought together to create a unique hidden-object illustration that now features on our Anniversary T-shirt. Available in five different sizes, the T-shirt can now be purchased in the online shop of our partner Stadtlandkind. Every purchase supports SPOG’s childhood cancer research.

Wishes that touch the heart

Many drawings and wishes reached us directly from SPOG’s nine member clinics, sent by children and adolescents with cancer themselves or by their siblings. Reading these wishes moved us deeply. Among birthday greetings, skipping ropes, puzzles and cakes, one wish appeared again and again: that cancer will one day no longer be a threat to children and adolescents. This is exactly what SPOG works towards every day.

“May your superpower help you find medicine that makes all children healthy!!! And lots of – Jolina, aged 10

“I hope your wish comes true and that everyone (including me) gets cured.” – Logan, aged 4

“I wish you a new skipping rope, an Uno game and a happy birthday.” – Valerie, aged 3

Children and adolescents should be able to grow up carefree. These wishes remind us that this is far from a given for many affected families. Through our research, we are working to ensure that young patients are not only cured but can also look to the future with confidence and good health.

A T-shirt that gives hope

The Anniversary T-shirt carries the children’s wishes into the wider world. With every T-shirt sold, the proceeds go directly to SPOG’s childhood cancer research. Every purchase helps improve treatment and survival prospects for children and adolescents with cancer.

The T-shirt is available through Stadtlandkind, the Swiss online shop for high-quality, sustainably produced children’s clothing. SPOG and Stadtlandkind have been partners since 2023 and share a commitment to supporting children and families.

The launch coincides with Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The Anniversary T-shirt is therefore not only a special keepsake marking SPOG’s 50th anniversary, but also a visible sign of solidarity with children and adolescents affected by cancer.
