Terms and Conditions – Moving Together for Children with Cancer
By participating in the «Moving Together for Children with Cancer» campaign, you agree to the following conditions:
1. Accurate entries
The minutes of physical activity entered must be recorded honestly and realistically. The campaign is based on trust and fairness.
2. Campaign period
The campaign runs from 24 August to 13 September 2026. Minutes of physical activity may only be entered during this period.
3. Eligibility
Participation is open to all persons. Persons under the age of 18 may participate with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
4. Contact by SPOG
SPOG may contact you by email in connection with this campaign, for example to provide information about the campaign or the leaderboard.
5. Display on the leaderboard
Individual participants are listed in abbreviated form (e.g. Anna M.) on the leaderboard. For groups, the registered group name is displayed. The leaderboard is publicly accessible during the campaign and will be deleted within 90 days of the end of the campaign on 13 September 2026.
6. Donations
Fundraising is voluntary and not a requirement for participation. Both groups and individuals are warmly invited to mobilise support in their own networks – for example as a fixed amount or a contribution per minute of activity. All donations go directly to the Swiss Paediatric Oncology Group (SPOG) and are used exclusively to support childhood cancer research.
7. Data protection and data processing
The party responsible for processing your personal data is:

Your data will be processed exclusively for the purposes of this campaign and will not be shared with third parties. The legal basis for data processing is your consent, given by participating in the campaign. After the campaign ends, your data will be deleted unless you have signed up for ongoing communications.
You have the right at any time to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your data. To exercise these rights, please contact us at info@spog.ch.

8. Withdrawal and deletion
You may withdraw your participation at any time and request the deletion of your data. Please contact info@spog.ch. Once deleted, your entries and name will be removed from the leaderboard.
9. Disclaimer Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. SPOG accepts no liability for injuries or other damage arising in connection with the campaign.
10. Changes to the terms and conditions
SPOG reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions if required for the proper running of the campaign. Registered participants will be notified of any significant changes by email.
11. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Bern.
