The Ambassador Battle: Team Berthod versus Team Billeter

The SPOG’s 50th-anniversary movement campaign is taking the form of a sporting competition: ski racer Marc Berthod and TV presenter Jann Billeter are competing against each other with their teams. The only question is: which team will clock up more minutes of physical activity for children with cancer in 21 days?

From 24 August to 13 September 2026, the Swiss Paediatric Oncology Group (SPOG) is running a nationwide movement campaign. We’re calling on the public to get active and help our mascot, Spogli, make progress on a virtual tour of Switzerland.

The two SPOG ambassadors, Marc Berthod and Jann Billeter, are also taking part. They’re locked in an exciting battle, with their teams aiming to collect as many minutes of physical activity as possible. Which team will come out on top? Join Team Berthod or Team Billeter.

How to take part in the Battle

Taking part is really simple:

  1. Get moving, whether as part of your daily routine or through sport.
  2. Log your minutes of physical activity.
  3. Allocate your minutes of physical activity to Team Berthod or Team Billeter.

Every minute of physical activity is converted into distance and helps Spogli, our mascot symbolising hope and solidarity, make progress on his virtual tour of Switzerland.

Give your team a boost with a donation

Would you like to give Team Berthod or Team Billeter an extra boost? By making a donation, you can trigger a boost for your chosen team. All donations go entirely towards SPOG’s childhood cancer research.

The campaign runs until midnight on 13 September 2026. The winning team will be announced on 14 September. Which team will come out on top?

Join in now with your own team

You can also set up your own team and collect minutes of physical activity together. Whether with your family, in a club or with your company: every minute counts. No registration is required. From 24 August, you can easily create your team on the campaign page. Afterwards, each team member can enter their minutes of physical activity independently.

You can also take part as an individual, without joining a team or taking part in the Battle. Your minutes of physical activity will also help Spogli make progress. And best of all: you can compare yourself with other individuals on the leaderboard.

From Monday onwards, it’s all about collecting and logging your minutes of physical activity. We look forward to seeing you get involved!
